LBC Plus Card Discounts for OFWs in Kuwait

PRESS RELEASE

LBC offers discounts to OFWs in Kuwait with Plus Card
LBC Express, the leading courier service provider in the Philippines, recently launched the LBC Plus Card in Kuwait to provide perks and privileges to the overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in the country.
The LBC Plus Card is a rewards and loyalty program where customers can avail of special discounts and freebies on exclusive LBC products and services, and deals and discounts from partner establishments around the world. All these are available to loyal customers free of charge, with no annual fees!

“The launching of LBC Plus in Kuwait is a clear manifestation of LBC’s move from being Hari ng Padala to a friend who makes your day,” said Renan Monte de Ramos, the country manager of Kuwait. “With the number of OFWs there, we want to make our customers feel that there is someone they can rely on for help in reaching out to their families back home.”

The launch of the card means thousands of OFWs in Kuwait can send packages to their loved ones back home, and enjoy discounts and privileges along the way.

Spin Wheel
Upon signing, customers qualify for two free spin tickets at the Spin Wheel when they login at lbcplus.lbcexpress.com website, where winners can get discounts on air cargo. A package weighing five kilograms can get a KD1 (P149) discount, while those weighing 10 kilograms can get a KD2 (P298) discount.

Sea cargo to air cargo
Those sending sea cargos can also get a discount on their next air cargo delivery. For every sea cargo delivery, customers are entitled to a KD3 (P447) discount.
Partner establishments
Customers can receive discounts from LBC when transacting from partner establishments like Mediacom and ICSA. For every transaction, customers will receive a KD1 discount on their next sea cargo delivery using a large box.
The Middle East is one of the most popular destinations for OFWs. The growing infrastructures in the Gulf states like Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, and Bahrain offer opportunities for foreign workers like Filipinos. There are three million OFWs in the Middle East, with 27,106 in Kuwait alone.
These opportunities to work abroad and earn more come at the price of being apart from their families for long periods of time. Sadly, this only comes second to providing a brighter future for their spouses and children. LBC aims to serve as the link between OFWs and their families, by offering the lowest rates in sea cargo and big discounts on large boxes, which make up 80% of all deliveries. With the LBC Plus Card, the “modern hero” can maximize their savings to send more to their waiting families.
“We understand why millions of Filipinos go abroad to work,” said de Ramos. “We’d like to be the modern hero’s ally in making sure their loved ones receive their package, and we’d like to make it easier by offering unbeatable rates and great discounts.”
LBC’s Kuwait branches are located in Fahad Al-Salem Street, Block 13, shop #28, Basement Coupon 1, 2 & 3, Burgan Building, Alsalhiya, Kuwait City.
