Eugenio Lopez Center: A Hidden Gem in Antipolo City

City dwellers in Metro Manila longs for a perfect relaxation to de-stress or simply just get away from the city. However, that entails long hours of traveling outside Metro Manila or even a plane ride. For some though, having a hotel staycation is just as relaxing but that can be a bit expensive.

Luckily, there's Eugenio Lopez Center in Antipolo City and it is just on the outskirt of Metro Manila and has all the perfect amenities including a whole view of the metropolis.

One may think that Antipolo City is far but if you travel the stretch of Marilaque Highway and then turn to Masinag and Sumulong Highway, you'll easily find it. It's just right after McDonald's, and before Alpadi Estate.

The Eugenio Lopez Center (ELC) used to be a private estate that belongs to the Lopez clan, which eventually they opened so that their employees can use it for functions, meetings, seminars, etc. And since then, it has transitioned as a recreational center that includes a hotel, restaurant, nature trail, among others.

The restaurant has a nice view of the metropolis and believe me when I say that it is an awesome sight. I has a capacity of 200 and is perfect for weddings, birthdays, other celebrations and functions.

The ELC also has several function rooms for meetings and seminars ...

... and has its very own theatre room  that fits about 50 pax.

There are 30+ rooms to choose from that includes a Deluxe Room, Executive Room, and A Suite. Price ranges from P4k++  to  P6k++. Very affordable rate for such a scenic place.

Here's a lovely view of the swimming pool. It is surrounded by lush greens and flowering trees. A relaxing spot to hang out, take a dip, or simply doze off.

Aside from the swimming pool, ELC is also equipped with a gym that has a wonderful view of the metropolis. You can daydream while on the stationary bicycle or treadmill or lift weights. Guests can also play billiards and darts. There's also a hiking and biking trail and other outdoor activities that guests can use.

There's also a lovely chapel that has witnessed numerous weddings.

And the beauty of Eugenio Lopez Center doesn't just stop there. Aside from having a scenic location, on can also marvel at the amazing sunset.

  1. HI, I just came there a while ago to check the place but I never knew they have a chapel. Can they accommodate catholic weddings?

    Thank you.

    1. Hi Nenita, Yes, they do accommodate weddings there but I think you need to invite your own priest. Here's the mobile number 0917 515 6225 posted on their FB Page. :)
